Elaine Ashley is an member of the firm
practicing in the area of family law.
Ms. Ashley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1976 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance, obtaining a Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University in 1977. Ms. Ashley received her Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University in 1998 where she served as an assistant associate editor of the North Carolina Central Law Journal and was on the Trial Advocacy Board. Ms. Ashley won recognition by the Trial Advocacy Board by placing first in the Willie Gary Trial Competition.
Ms. Ashley is Board Certified by the NC State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Family Law.
Ms. Ashley is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and the Greensboro Bar Association. She has served as the Chair of the Greensboro Family Law Section. She is a member of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, the Guilford County Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, the Guilford Inn of Court and the Triad Collaborative Law Group.
